3. State Minority Office:

The Office of Minority Health helps minority communities reach a high level of health and wellness. It also works to eliminate the discrepancy in health status between minority and non-minority populations in Georgia.

4. State Nursing Board:

The Professional Licensing Boards Division provides administrative support services to 36 professional licensing boards that issue 197 types of licenses to more than 400,000 Georgians in various professions. The boards process applications, administer examinations, and when warranted, conduct investigations into possible professional misconduct and may discipline, suspend, or revoke the licenses of practitioners.

5. State Midwifery Organization:

Citizens for Midwifery is a non-profit, volunteer, grassroots organization. Founded by several mothers in 1996, it is the only national consumer-based group promoting the Midwives Model of Care.
