1. State Insurance Commissioner:

The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (PRC) regulates the utilities, telecommunications, motor carriers and insurance industries to ensure fair and reasonable rates, and to assure reasonable and adequate services to the public as provided by law.

The New Mexico Medical Board is responsible for protecting the health and safety of the public. 6. Friends of Midwifery:

The New Mexico Midwives Association (NMMA) incorporated in 1977 to insure women’s access to safe and personalized care throughout all the cycles of their lives. The NMMA has worked consistently to enable licensed midwives to attend the births of thousands of New Mexican babies with excellent outcomes.
